  175. The last school group contact was completed yesterday.  The Portsmouth HS 
  176. in Portsmouth, New Hampshire had a telebridge contact using stations in 
  177. California (Ralph Warner, N6MNN) and Texas (Bob Douglas, W5GEL).  The 
  178. students asked 5 questions during this bridge contact.
  179.  
  180. Hams across the U.S. and around the world continue to work the Shuttle 
  181. Columbia on both voice and packet.  Moreover, the completion of school 
  182. group contacts has cleared several school backup passes for possible 
  183. general QSO opportunities.  While the SAREX Working Group cannot fully 
  184. guarantee availability, there is a high probability that the STS-58 crew 
  185. will be ready to take general calls over the continental U.S. on these 
  186. passes.  Two of these "scheduled" passes remain.  These include orbit 
  187. 178 at MET 11 days 1 hour 42 minutes (10/29 at 16:35 UTC) and orbit 192 
  188. at MET 11 days 22 hours and 29 minutes (10/30 at 13:22 UTC).  Please note 
  189. that the astronauts operated voice during yesterday's "scheduled" pass 
  190. which occurred on 10/27 at 14:59 UTC (Orbit 145).  Also note that hams on 
  191. the ground heard or worked the Shuttle Columbia crew on several other orbits 
  192. yesterday.

  382. The last school group contact was completed yesterday.  The Portsmouth HS 
  383. in Portsmouth, New Hampshire had a telebridge contact using stations in 
  384. California (Ralph Warner, N6MNN) and Texas (Bob Douglas, W5GEL).  The 
  385. students asked 5 questions during this bridge contact.
  386.  
  387. Hams across the U.S. and around the world continue to work the Shuttle 
  388. Columbia on both voice and packet.  Moreover, the completion of school 
  389. group contacts has cleared several school backup passes for possible 
  390. general QSO opportunities.  While the SAREX Working Group cannot fully 
  391. guarantee availability, there is a high probability that the STS-58 crew 
  392. will be ready to take general calls over the continental U.S. on these 
  393. passes.  Two of these "scheduled" passes remain.  These include orbit 
  394. 178 at MET 11 days 1 hour 42 minutes (10/29 at 16:35 UTC) and orbit 192 
  395. at MET 11 days 22 hours and 29 minutes (10/30 at 13:22 UTC).  Please note 
  396. that the astronauts operated voice during yesterday's "scheduled" pass 
  397. which occurred on 10/27 at 14:59 UTC (Orbit 145).  Also note that hams on 
  398. the ground heard or worked the Shuttle Columbia crew on several other orbits 
  399. yesterday.

  847. The last school group contact was completed yesterday.  The Portsmouth HS 
  848. in Portsmouth, New Hampshire had a telebridge contact using stations in 
  849. California (Ralph Warner, N6MNN) and Texas (Bob Douglas, W5GEL).  The 
  850. students asked 5 questions during this bridge contact.
  851.  
  852. Hams across the U.S. and around the world continue to work the Shuttle 
  853. Columbia on both voice and packet.  Moreover, the completion of school 
  854. group contacts has cleared several school backup passes for possible 
  855. general QSO opportunities.  While the SAREX Working Group cannot fully 
  856. guarantee availability, there is a high probability that the STS-58 crew 
  857. will be ready to take general calls over the continental U.S. on these 
  858. passes.  Two of these "scheduled" passes remain.  These include orbit 
  859. 178 at MET 11 days 1 hour 42 minutes (10/29 at 16:35 UTC) and orbit 192 
  860. at MET 11 days 22 hours and 29 minutes (10/30 at 13:22 UTC).  Please note 
  861. that the astronauts operated voice during yesterday's "scheduled" pass 
  862. which occurred on 10/27 at 14:59 UTC (Orbit 145).  Also note that hams on 
  863.  
  864. the ground heard or worked the Shuttle Columbia crew on several other orbits 
  865. yesterday.
